Kilts are built around the tartan. We match sett, lock pleat depth, and grade the waist so the bulk kilt reads as the sample the outfitter approved, not a near-sett from a different mill run.
Eight-yard construction is the line standard. Fell, straps, and lining follow the outfitter spec.
Kilts can ship as a standalone SKU or as part of a highland set with jacket, sporran, and hose.
